April 19th Board Meeting Agenda

7:30 PM SCOTTSBLUFF HIGH SCHOOL ROOM 132

 

  • Discussion of upcoming fall season. The following are suggestions for discussion so that we can get fliers out and registration set up ASAP so we can grow our numbers from last year.
    • Dates – Starting the Saturday after Labor Day gives the following dates.
      • 8U and below would be 6 weeks September 8,15,22,29 Oct 6,13
      • 15U -10U would be from September 8th to October 27th (2 weeks for playoff)
      • 19U(high school) possibly Sunday afternoons and 5v5 depending on numbers
    • Cost.
      • $40 +$17.50 national fee for 4U – 8U
      • $45 + 17.50 nation fee for 10U and up to cover medals, etc. for playoff
      • $30 + 17.50 for playground as only expense is t-shirt and ball.
  • Scholarship request from 10U Boys team for Snicker Cup. Team marked and lined fields and has maintained all season. Recruited coaches for division,etc.
    • Would like to do the same for other teams as well. – Need to put together expectation list for team tournament scholarship.
  • Request for National Course training for Nate Rock and Chad Larson from WNFC account for a cost of about $2k.
  • Approved summer tournaments…
    • Need to produce list for all coaches.

 

  • Summer 3v3
    • Would need to be run by traveling teams as a fundraiser. Proceeds would be divided among participating teams for tournaments.
  • Future items…
    • Need to have board election at June meeting, Nominations at May meeting. Descriptions of positions to be sent out prior to May meeting.
    • Budget to be set at June meeting.
    • Dates for coach/ referee training
    • Date for parent/coach meetings
    • Team roster deadlines
    • Fall - Jersey or t-shirts or both (practice t-shirt w/ sponsors??)
